Job Description: Manager Business Development, Information Security, Law Enforcement Our client, a leading provider of Information Security products, is now hiring for Manager Business Development to sell its solutions to Law Enforcement vertical markets such as Local, State and Federal law enforcement departments , and Jails/Prisons/Corrections departments The Manager Business Development, Law Enforcement will be responsible for driving sales opportunities and managing federal government sales effort. This position will be held accountable for helping achieve specific direct sales revenue goals as well as perform agreed upon major business objectives designed to further company wide business goals. US Citizen Travel 40-60% of the time. If you cannot satisfy these requirements, please apply to our other positions. Responsibilities: Conducting sales presentations and demonstrations for existing and potential customers as well as partners. Penetrate new account and close new business and relationships with law enforcement and correctional community entities. Generate and manage proposals and government contracts from inception to post delivery of product Detailing/presenting product features, operation, support services and outlining the resulting value propositions to customer/partner. Coordinating the response to RFP/RFI/RFQs. Developing and updating strategic sales plans to describe the process plan and progress against objectives. Providing detailed, timely customer feedback and status on progress of strategic sales efforts. Achievement of an annual quota target that is set based upon corporate criteria combined with business potential of the target area. Provide feedback to Engineering and Product Management teams regarding post-sales technical, logistical and business issues. Required Skills and Experience: Previous Sales experience (seeking 5-10 years minimum) for a systems supplier, defense contractor, data network vendor, service provider or network security company including both presentation and hands-on channel/account management responsibilities. Previous experience successfully responding to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs to law enforcement and correctional customers . Strong preference for sales Federal, Military, Corrections, Detention and Law Enforcement community. Proven track record of selling and consulting with Federal, State and Local Government channels and customers in their pursuit of system solutions US Citizen Must be able to Travel 40-60% of the time. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with computer tools, such as MS Powerpoint, Salesforce.com, Excel, MS Word.df-mn
